Finally got the chance to check out U2 in concert as the pictures above show, and while they are taken on a shitting phone camera they go some way to capturing the size of the light and visual show on offer. Bono did begin to grate after a while with his rock god/saviour of the people posturing but the songs where so damn good you just didn’t care or simply blocked it out. They also get extra props for playing Arcade Fire full volume right before they came on.

A special mention goes to Kanye West who came out while the sun was still up and did his very best with a bunch of white middle aged rock fans. He even played ‘Never Be Alone’ by Justice vs. Simian, how very ironic.
