Okay so the past three post have a have a worrying Mario slant, just to put you all at ease check this photo of what becomes of people who let Mario consume them, I wonder if the dude next to him (in pink) is supposed to be the Princess.

Its-a-me!

Well I may have made my last post about him but hot dang the Mario news just keeps on coming. Another two killer Mario games have been annouced, one for the aging GameCube and one for the upcoming Nintendo console curiously named Wii and yes I will admit to giggling a few times when I heard that name, so don't feel guilty if you do too. The GC game is titled Super Paper Mario (very original) and the Wii one Super Mario Galaxy. Who knew a plumber would come this far?!

In other news I recently attended John and Ruth's wedding as a groomsmen (I'm all grown up!). A small selection of my photo can be found in My Flickr link on the right. Thanks to Glover for taking those snaps as I had my hands full looking serious and pimping in my suit. While I'm on the topic of photos belated thanks goto to Forbes for supplying the photo's from John's Bucks Weekend.

I also managed to catch a Spanish movie that was a hit a few years ago but I never got around to watching. Titled Y tu mama tambien (which translates to '...and your mother too'), its chock full of sex, drugs and revolves around a road trip. The Mexican setting and perfect casting actually make it much more profound than you would think. It also stars Gael Garcia Bernal who was in the Motorcycle Diaries and will soon star in Michel Gondry's new crazy ass feature about dreams, but in a crazy French way. Get into it, or just write me a comment telling me I'm a bit late.

Oh and how pimping do I look in the suit. Don't know who that super hot chick is beside me though. She just walked into frame.

Tales of Mario and Men

Just posting to let y'all know two important things. Firstly my Flikr album is now linked from the right hand side of my blog with my other links and has recently been updated to feature all the photos from John's recent bucks party which was a little camping trip up too Mungo Brush. Mungo Brush is about two hours out of Sydney just near Newcastle. It's lovely country apart from all the rangers on a power trip.

The other important notice is that the New Super Mario Brothers is about to be realeased on the Nintendo DS. Check the links if you dont know what Im talking about. Run, dont walk people!

The most important link is of the new Jurassic 5 website which contains news about their new album set to drop on the 25^th of July. It will be called ‘Feedback’ and all I can say is that it has been too long.

If your wondering what those blurry washed out pictures at the top of my post are, they are belated pics of the Rolling Stones when I went to see them recently. We were quite a way back from the stage but they came up in this fancy hydro thingy while busting a killer rendition of ‘Miss You’. Mick may be old but he can still move.
